5 Tips To Grow Your Facebook Page

When it comes to Facebook, everyone is using it these days! You can guarantee that almost everyone you know is on Facebook for all different reasons. Facebook is the perfect place to start to grow your audience! Check out our 5 tips to grow your Facebook page:

Different groups - With everyone on Facebook now there are different groups for everything! Neighborhood groups, marketplace groups for selling, job finding groups… you name it! A great way to grow your page is to post about it in different groups. If you own a local business, my best advice is to join a town/ neighborhood group. A lot of these groups have promotion days where they will not delete any type of promotion posts! Once you post, get ready to answer a lot of questions in the comments because believe it or not a lot of people see these!

Sponsored posts - Honestly, sponsored Facebook posts are pretty inexpensive… I mean, they are what you make it! You are able to pay as much as you want for them or as little as you want! Post a good, fun, informative, and engaging post about your business page and then sponsor that post. Even if the sponsored post only reaches 10 new people, that's 10 new people that now know about your amazing brand! And the great news is there is no limit to how many sponsored posts you make!

Self promotion - There is no shame in a little self promo here and there- we all do it. Take pride in yourself and your business! A great way to grow your Facebook page is to self promote on your personal account! Post to your personal Facebook page so that your family and friends can see your business, maybe you have a few relatives that didn’t know you were a business owner and they want to support you! You never know what you can get out of a quick facebook shoutout.

Post consistently - We love to talk about consistent posts because it's true the effect they have on a business! If you are posting frequently and consistently your followers will know your brand and your page are still active. A customer is less likely to buy from you if they have not seen a post from you in a few weeks or months because they assume your business is inactive or maybe they’ve forgotten about you. Consistent posts will reassure questioning customers that you're still there and they can continue with their purchase! It will also reassure people questioning if it is worth it to give you a follow.

Figure out your posting schedule - What is the best time to post your content? This is something you want to find out! If you post at 6 A.M. chances are no one is going to see your post and it will just go to waste. At this time many people are not up yet and if they are they are busy setting up for the day, by the time they get online your post is now lost in the sea of all the other posts that day! If it is 1 P.M. and people are sitting down for lunch, they may be on their phones to see your post! Look at your analytics and figure out a posting schedule that best suits your audience.
